Freddy
Pastras-Mayer

Coffee Association (SCA), certified Q‑Arabica Grader, authorized
trainer (AST), and SCA Coffee Diploma holder
Freddy has been initiated in the magical world of coffee many years ago, operating an own business in the sector in the past.
Starting as a Specialty coffee expert in 2015, today Freddy is the Specialty Dept. Director of KAFEA TERRA and AREA 51.
He specializes in sourcing and purchasing green coffee, quality control, roasting and training, while, at the same time, he is in charge of the sales of the client network in Attica.
He has been certified by the World Competitions Educational Program under the auspices of World Coffee Events as a national judge (sensory, technical and visual).
Alexandros
Getis

Alexandros has been wotking for five years at KAFEA TERRA and is the new member of the AREA 51 team, occupied with R&D, quality control, training and supervising the client network in Attica.
With studies in Food Chemistry at Athens University, he has also a worked as a coffee barista in several places in the past.
In 2023, he was distinguished in the national Cup Taster Championship as the 3rd place winner.
Athanasia
Kalampaliki

Athanasia is the newest member of the AREA team, with a 15 years experience in the coffee industry. Before joining the team, she has been working for the past 5 years as a Barista Trainer and Quality Control Specialist.
Athanasia is an awarded coffee professional with her recent achievements include a 1st place in the Hellenic Brewers Cup 2020, a 2nd place in Cup Tasters 2019 and a 3rd place in Brewers Cup 2017.
She is passionate about coffee, dedicated to maintaining high standards.
Panagiotis
Vitalis

Panagiotis has been active in the coffee industry since 2008, starting his journey in some of Greece’s first specialty coffee shops.
Since 2015, he has been a Barista Trainer at the Bar Academy training center. He has won several awards, with the most notable being first place in the
Greek Cup Τasters Championship in 2016.
With a keen eye for continuous learning, he is dedicated to expanding his knowledge and being part of a creative team that embraces the coffee community, values high-quality coffee, and seeks out new challenges.
