AREA 51 × World of Coffee 2023

Every June, it travels to a different European city and constitutes the most significant event for professionals in the specialty coffee industry, attracting a dedicated audience from the global community.

In 2023, it took place in Athens - at the Metropolitan Expo, from June 22^nd to 24^th - and marked the perfect beginning for a summer filled with the aroma of coffee, excitement, and knowledge exchange.

AREA 51 participated in this big event and made its mark, offering unique Single Origins, Nitro Cold Brew, and new specialty coffee capsules compatible with Nespresso machines.

We spent three days among the largest specialty coffee community, met coffee growers from the three continents, attended competitions, followed impressive appearances by champions, monitored the latest trends in the field and also had the chance to taste unique coffee varieties.

WOC is organized by SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) and has more than tripled in size and prestige over the last nine years, growing from 3,000 visitors and 45 exhibitors to 11,000 visitors and 350+ exhibitors. It is a festival of innovation and learning, encompassing:
