Orders
Do you accept online orders only?
You can order the AREA 51 products of your favour online by completing the relevant Order Form that exists in the online store. In case you want a different way, you can proceed with a phone order by calling at (+30) 213 090 5600 from Monday – Friday, 9:00–17:00.
My order is missing. What should I do?
After completion of order, you should have received a confirmation receipt of the purchase which is sent automatically in your email, as well as a number for tracking your order.
If you haven’t received any of them, you can address the AREA 51 e-shop at (+30) 213 090 5600 from Monday – Friday, 9:00–17:00 or contact shop@area51coffeeroasters.com
Can I cancel after my order is already confirmed?
You can cancel your order by sending an e-mail to shop@area51coffeeroasters.com, unless you have received an information by e-mail about the shipment of your order. If so, you cannot cancel or change your order.
I did not receive a confirmation e-mail. Should I be concerned?
A confirmation should have been sent to your email after completing your order. In case you haven’t received one, you can contact shop@area51coffeeroasters.com or call at (+30) 213 090 5600 to check your order, from Monday – Friday, 9:00–17:00.
Payments
What types of cards do you accept?
Our website accepts all major cards (credit, debit, or pre-paid): Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, and Diners.
The charging of your credit/debit cards is undertaken by "Simplify by Mastercard", therefore ensuring the absolute security of your transaction.
Do you accept bank transfers?
Certainly we do. You may choose the bank that accommodates you to deposit the amount of your order. Do not forget to fill in your full name and the order number as the justification.

Is there a cash on delivery (COD) option?
Yes, there is a cash on delivery option, with an additional charge of 2€.
Bear in mind that, according to the General Secretariat of Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation (GGDE), cash on delivery is supported up to the amount of 500€.
Can I pay using PayPal?
Yes, you can select PayPal as your payment method during checkout.
When doing so, you’ll be taken to PayPal’s website and if you have enabled PayPal One Touch for faster checkout, you will only be asked to confirm payment. If you have not enabled this feature on your Paypal account, you will be asked to sign-in to your PayPal account, and then authorize the payment.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes, you will receive a receipt along with your order receival.
Can I request an invoice?
You can choose whether the payment will be made by issuing a retail receipt or an invoice.
In order to request an invoice, choose "New billing details" and simply fill the "V.A.T." in, during checkout.
Invoices are issued to professionals, provided that they choose it and fill in the following information when placing their order: Company name, VAT (Tax Identification Number), Tax Office and Business activity.
Can I ask for a refund?
Yes, a refund request is available. In case a refund is needed, you will have to return the products purchased, unpaid and unrequired to announce the reason why, within an exclusive period of fourteen (14) calendar days, with a charge cost only of returning the products.
The products you purchased have to be sent in the same condition as they were the day you received them at Naxou 12-14, 19002 Paiania-Attica, with the retail receipt that accompanied them.
Shipping
Which countries do you ship to?
At this moment AREA 51 orders are only being shipped to Greece.
How much does the shipping cost?
It depends on the total amount of your order:
- If your order cost is more than 40€ the transfer costs are free of charge.
- For purchases of lower costs, you will be charged with a transfer cost of 3,50€ that emerges during checkout, before you complete the payment
How long will it take until I receive my order?
After you receive an order confirmation receipt, it usually takes 2-4 working days for the order to be delivered, unless you are in a remote area where more days may be needed.
I have not yet received my order. What should I do?
You can always track your order using the tracking number which will have been sent along with the confirmation of your purchase. If your order hasn’t been delivered within 2-4 days, depending on the area you live, you can contact Geniki Taxidromiki, our shipping partner or AREA 51 e-shop at (+30) 213 090 5600 from Monday – Friday, 9:00–17:00.

We carefully select green coffee, placing particular emphasis on proper management throughout all stages of the coffee chain.
Each AREA 51 coffee is of small (microlot) or very small (nanolot) production, unique geographic origin, and exclusively specialty grade.
We approach and process each coffee differently to highlight its unique flavors.

Is there any place I can try your coffees before I order?
Of course. You can always visit the closest to your region AREA 51 spot where you can try the AREA 51 coffee of your interest.
Are there coffees that are more suitable for a specific preparation method?
All our coffees are suitable for both espresso and filter use. Because of their unique taste characteristics, it’s up to you to choose the AREA 51 coffee, the cup profile of which suits more to your taste preferences.
For example, BRAZIL has a sweet, milk chocolate profile, with hints of red fruits etc. Whatever you choose can be easily brewed in every method you prefer, leaving you with a unique coffee experience.
